Overview

Welcome to the Negotiation Simplified commercial website. By purchasing books through our website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Our services include the sale of books via individual book orders for both electronic (including audio) and hard-copy books, direct fulfillment (Bulk Orders), and third-party manufacturing (Print-on-Demand).

Order Processing

• Electronic Book Orders (including audio books): Electronic Book Orders (including audio books): Orders placed for individual copies of electronic copies of Negotiation Simplified will be shipped electronically within one (1) business day of order confirmation in either PDF or Kindle eBook Reader (KDP) format (you must specify when you place your order). Shipments will be delivered via the email address provided by the customer at the time of purchase.
• Audio copies of Negotiation Simplified are not sold directly through the website. Customers wishing to purchase an audio version will be directed to Audible for purchase and delivery. Audio books are available in the audio formats supported by the Audible platform. Delivery and access to audiobooks will be provided through the customer’s Audible account in accordance with Audible’s terms and conditions.
• Print-on-Demand (POD) Orders: After our existing inventory of pre-printed books is exhausted, orders placed for individual copies will be manufactured and fulfilled by our third-party printing partners. By ordering, you acknowledge that manufacturing begins immediately upon payment.
• Bulk Orders: Orders for multiple copies are subject to availability and separate invoicing. Lead times for bulk shipments will be confirmed via email prior to finalization of the order.

Payment Terms

All payments are processed securely. We do not store sensitive credit card information on our servers; all payment processing is handled by our PCI-compliant payment gateway, Chase. You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information.

Shipping and Delivery

• Electronic Copy Orders (including audiobooks):

Electronic copies of our books are delivered through the platform from which they are purchased. Upon completing your order, you will receive access to your eBook through your selected retailer’s account and delivery system. eBooks purchased through Amazon Kindle Direct Publishing (KDP) are delivered to your Kindle library and can be read using Kindle devices or the Kindle app available on smartphones, tablets, and computers. Purchases made through Barnes & Noble are delivered to your NOOK library and can be accessed on NOOK devices or compatible apps. Titles distributed through IngramSpark are available through participating retailers and libraries, with delivery and access managed according to the policies of the retailer from which the purchase was made. After purchase, customers should follow the download and reading instructions provided by the retailer. Download availability, supported devices, and reading options may vary by platform. If you experience issues accessing your eBook, please contact the retailer where the purchase was completed, as they manage electronic delivery, downloads, account access, and device compatibility. Please note that eBooks are generally non-refundable once downloaded or accessed, subject to the policies of the retailer through which the purchase was made. Audiobooks: As noted above, audio copies of Negotiation Simplified are not available from this website; customers will be directed to Audible.com. We do not accept returns or exchanges for “change of mind” or incorrect orders placed by the customer.

• Damaged or Defective Items: If your ebook file is corrupted and unreadable, please contact us at JReiman@ReimanNegotiations.com within 10 days of delivery.
• Required Documentation: Please include your order number and clear photographic evidence (screenshot) showing that the file cannot be opened or read. We will happily arrange for a free replacement file.
• Hard Copy Book Orders: Shipping estimates are provided by our third-party fulfillment warehouse and our third-party printer and are estimates only. See: Shipping and Return Policy. We are not liable for shipping delays caused by the warehouse, carrier, or printing facility.
• Bulk Orders: Shipping methods and tracking information will be provided once the order is dispatched. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery to the carrier.

 Returns and Refunds

• Print-on-Demand Books: Because these items are custom-printed specifically for your order, we do not accept returns or exchanges for “change of mind” or incorrect orders placed by the customer.
• Damaged or Defective Items: If your book arrives with manufacturing defects (e.g., misprint, binding error) or damage incurred during shipping, please contact us at JReiman@ReimanNegotiations.com within 10 days of delivery.
• Required Documentation: Please include your order number and clear photographic evidence of the damage. We will happily arrange for a free replacement to be printed and shipped for you.
• Pre-printed Hard Copy Orders:
• Return of Undamaged Pre-Printed Books: We will accept returns of undamaged pre-printed books and refund 50% of the cost, provided the book is returned in new, undamaged condition. The refund shall be issued within 10 business days of its return to our warehouse. No returns will be accepted unless pre-approved by us. All return shipping will be at the buyer’s expense.

If your order arrives damaged or defective, please contact us at: JReiman@ReimanNegotiations.com within 10 days of delivery, and please provide us with photographic evidence of the damage. We will arrange for a replacement to be shipped to you at no cost to you.

• Bulk Orders: All sales are final. Please inspect your shipment upon arrival. Any claims for shortages or damages must be reported within 10 days of delivery.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, neither James Reiman, Reiman Negotiations, LLC, nor https://negotiationsimplifiedbook.com shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from the use of, or inability to use, our products or services, or any other claim relating to the purchase/sale of any goods through this website. All parties expressly agree that their damages, if any, shall be limited to the amount actually paid to and received by Reiman Negotiations LLC by the customer. All parties shall bear their own legal and other costs of enforcing this agreement term.

Governing Law / Agreement to Arbitrate

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois and enforced by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) using the AAA’s commercial rules for claims under $25,000 in force at the time the demand for arbitration is filed with the AAA. Any award of the arbitrator shall be enforced in the Illinois State courts in Chicago, Illinois. If an in-person hearing is ordered by the Tribunal, such hearing shall take place in Chicago, Illinois.
